Caruso's Menu
Cooking has never been so fun! Caruso's now offers cooking classes once per month, and can even send a personal chef to your event for private lessons.

In 1998, Davide Caruso arrived in Santa Cruz, from Italy, and became chef at Manicomio Café, the future location of Caruso's Tuscan Cuisine & Pizzeria. With 8 years serving as chef at several Italian restaurants in the United States, and 7 years experience in Italy, Caruso dreamed of one day opening his own restaurant. Throughout this time, he worked with some of the best Italian chefs, each specializing in cuisines from particular regions of Italy, including Piedmont, Sicily, Campania, and Tuscany. On December 16, 2004, Davide Caruso's dream finally came true as he opened Caruso's Tuscan Cuisine & Pizzeria, following extensive remodeling to the old café.

Caruso's Tuscan Cuisine & Pizzeria offers wonderful Italian cuisine, just like what you'd find in Italy. Chef Davide Caruso chooses only the finest quality ingredients and local products, including farm-raised meats and fresh fish. Everything on the menu is made in-house and from scratch, including the focaccia bread, pasta, and sauces. 80% of the ingredients used are certified organic.

Caruso's offers catering to suit the special needs of each event, and can provide a buffet or sit-down meal, along with a waiter, bartender, linen and dinnerware. You can even hire a private chef to teach you and your guests to cook! Cooking classes also take place at Caruso's Tuscan Cuisine & Pizzeria on the first weekend of each month.
